, <br /> /11%/111 <br /> 0010/1.117 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. /-1///. <br /> A RESOLUTION establishing Greens Fees for the City of <br /> Everett Municipal Golf Courses, Legion Memorial and Walter E. <br /> Hall for the years 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001. <br /> WHEREAS, there is a periodic need to increase existing Golf Course Greens Fees to provide <br /> necessary funds for the continuation of Golf Course capital improvement projects and to provide <br /> additional revenues to offset the increasing costs of maintenance and operation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council adopted the policy of the City that the Golf Courses be self <br /> supporting within their fee structures; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council wishes to implement the course improvements suggested in <br /> the Conceptual Master Plans, adopted May 1, 1996, for Legion Memorial and Walter E. Hall Golf <br /> Courses; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Everett City Council desires to establish a five-year rate structure that provides a <br /> consistent, gradual rate increase schedule designed to provide sufficient income to finance the <br /> course improvement plans; and <br /> WHEREAS, on March 11, 1997, the Board of Park Commissioners voted to recommend the <br /> implementation of the rate increase; and <br /> WHEREAS,on March 11, 1997,the Board of Park Commissioners voted to review annually Golf <br /> Course Greens Fees to determine whether approved fees for future years will provide sufficient <br /> income to finance golf course operating and capital needs; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Junior Golf Program should be continued; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: That the Golf Course Greens Fees for Legion Memorial and Walter E.
