WHEREAS, even though Bill never sought recognition, in 1988 the City Council <br /> formally recognized his outstanding service to the community by its dedication of <br /> the Langus Riverfront Park in his honor; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City and its citizens are deeply saddened by Bill's recent death; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the undersigned Mayor and Members of the Everett City <br /> Council do hereby extend to Bill's wife Bette, his sons Jim and Bill and their <br /> families, Bill's relatives and close friends the City's condolences and do hereby <br /> recognize the memory of Bill Langus' years of dedication, service and <br /> commitment to the City of Everett and its citizens. <br /> SIGNED this 19th day of March, 1997. <br /> Mayor Edw. d D.
