RESOLUTION NO. 4 3 9 2 A RESOLUTION pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code and the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings authorizing the demolition and clearing of the building from the property situated at 3327 Lombard Avenue, Everett, Washington WHEREAS, the City of Everett Building Official has found the building on the property located at 3327 Lombard Ave. to be substandard and a public nuisance pursuant to the City of Everett Uniform Housing Code; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett Building Official has found the building on the property located at 3327 Lombard Ave. to be dangerous to the health, safety, and welfare of the public pursuant to the City of Everett Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Building Official issued a Notice and Order requiring the owner of the property to repair or demolish and remove the building from the property; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the repair or demolition of the building has not taken place as was required in the Order; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Order issued by the Building Official was properly served on the owner of the property in question; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Building Official has the authority to recommend this action pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code, and the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the owner has been given notice of this Council meeting; and WHEREAS, the City Council, upon due consideration, deems it in the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the public that a Resolution be adopted requiring the demolition of the building;
