NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT that: Section 1: That the building located at 3327 Lombard Ave., Everett, Washington, which is legally described as follows, contains conditions which endanger the life, limb, health, property, safety, and welfare of the public: Legal Description of the above referenced property is as follows; Lot 14, and the North half of Lot 15, Block 795, Everett Land Company's First Addition to Everett, as per plat recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, page 20, records of Snohomish County, Washington. Situate in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington. Section 2: That the above-described property is hereby declared to be substandard as is defined in the Uniform Housing Code. Section 3: That the above-described property is hereby declared to be dangerous as defined in the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings. Section 4: That the Building Official is hereby authorized to have the building demolished and cleared from said premises. Section 5: That all expenses incurred by the City as a result of said demolition work shall be made a personal obligation of the property owner or an assessment against the property, in which case the City of Everett shall ask the County Treasurer to enter the amount of the assessment upon the tax rolls against the property and collect the same with regular property taxes and with interest at such rate as provided for in RCW 84.56.020.
