REQUEST FOR ABATEMENT, RIGHT OF ENTRY AND WAIVER AND RELEASE <br />I, William jung, am the owner of the property located at 2018 Chestnut Street, Everett, <br />Washington (the "Property"). I either have lawful possession of the Property, or I have <br />a tenant in lawful possession whom I have provided and will continue to provide lawful <br />notice of actions taken by myself or the City of Everett (the "City" ) pursuant to this <br />Request for Abatement, Right of Entry and waiver and Release (the "Abatement <br />Agreement"). <br />On August 2, 2011, the City of Everett's Violations Hearing Examiner (the "Examiner") <br />ordered the abatement of Everett Municipal Code (the "EMC") violations occurring on <br />my Property. These code violations are listed in the Examiner's Order (the "Order") <br />which is incorporated into this Abatement Agreement by reference here. <br />The Examiner authorized the City to enter onto the Property and abate the violations <br />listed in the Order, at my sole cost, without further order or direction of the Examiner, if <br />I failed to abate the conditions myself. <br />I have not abated the following violations listed in the Order: <br />• There is junk, garbage, litter, discarded boxes, discarded lumber, salvage <br />material, discarded furniture, and discarded household equipment on the exterior <br />of the Property, which is a violation of chapter 8.20 EMC. <br />• The electrical system is in disrepair and it is a risk of injury to persons who may <br />operate it. <br />• The roof has failed and there is rainwater entering into the structure damaging it <br />and damaging the contents of the house. <br />• There is garbage and household items strewn throughout the house and it is <br />uninhabitable. <br />• The conditions of the structure described above are in violation of International <br />Property Maintenance Code as adopted by the City of Everett (the "IPMC") and <br />cause the residence to be unsafe for human occupancy pursuant to IPMC Section <br />108.1.3. <br />I have abated the following violations listed in the Order: <br />None <br />I agree to allow and hereby request the City use the services of one or more abatement <br />contractors selected solely by the City to abate ALL the above -referenced unabated <br />violations at the Property within six months of the date I executed this Abatement <br />
