�w�oa.-o�� <br /> lV[�R?�HS�H� <br /> PROVIDENCE EVERETT MEDICAL CENTER <br /> COLBY CAMPUS CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS <br /> CONSTRUCTION MITIGATION PLAN <br /> February 7, 2006 REVISED Februs;✓ 9, 2007 <br /> PURPOSE <br /> The purpose of this plan is to organize and communicate the efforts of the <br /> construction team to plan for and safely manage the interface :hat construction <br /> related activities will have on the surrounding community and the City of Everett. <br /> The following sections describe the planning at this date for the key components <br /> of coordination between the project and the community. <br /> Site Pian <br /> The attached site plan indicates where cranes will be located on the project site, <br /> the primary construction entrances for the ongoing Cancer Center project and the <br /> pending parking garage project, construction fences, pianned sidewalk and <br /> parking space closures, and other specific elements related to planned <br /> construction in the vicinity. <br /> Securitv <br /> All projects will have a security site fence that will o�nerally be driven posts or <br /> semi-permanently anchored to existing structures. . amporary moveable fenc�ng <br /> will be used when rigY�t of way improvements (sidewalks, curb & gutter, etc.) are <br /> undertaken. There is no plan to provide visual barriers at the conatruction <br /> fencing. All fencing will be in place and gates locked at the end of each workday. <br /> Warning signs will be posted every 50' indicating restricted access to the project <br /> site and noting safety requirements on the project. The construction parking area <br /> at the north half of the Everett Community College recreational field, will also <br /> have a security fence surrounding the planned parking and materials staging <br /> area. Access into and out of this fenced area will be from 13'h street, via the <br /> existing community college entrance. In addition, temporary construction offices <br /> will be located on the existing community college tennis courts. Utilization of this <br /> space will expand or contract based upon project needs. <br /> At all areas, additional sacurity lighling will only be added as necessary thereby <br /> minimizing the affect of these Iights on neighbors. This added security lighting will <br /> be designed a,�d installed so that it is shielded from direct glare on nearby <br /> �,� I <br />
