TRUCK ROUTES
The primary delivery route for the prcjects will be from Broadway Avenue to 13`h
Street and Broadway Avenun to 14`h Street, into the project gates. All contractors
and delivery personnel will ba instructed to use these as the primary routes for
access to either project. Construction deliveries to the Cancer Center will
diminish in the 2nd quarter of 2007, and tiie primary construction related traffic
pattern will be for.he parkinqgarage project, and will follow Broadway to 14"'
Street to the projet, and 13` street to Broadway from the project site.
If these haul routes prove unworkable for the City and traffic conditions, a third
aiternative will be discussed to move trucks west on 13'h Street, north on Colby,
east on 10h Stree;, then north on Broadway. This route will need to be reviewed
with the Cit prior to implementation.
All contractors and vendors will be directed to maintain below speed limit speeds
on neighborhood streets, 3nd to avoid any compression breaking. Loads will be
covered when required by City ordinance, State law, or other governing authority.
The parking garage project site will utilize a wheel wash to minimize the potential
for mud and dirt on surrounding streets. Additionally, flaggers at the project site
will be required to visually verify that all trucks leaving the site are not carrying
mud on their tires. Periodic and as-needed street sweeping is planned and will
also be included as a requirement for Subcontractors who wili have ongoing
trucks at the site.
See the foilrn, ving haul route plan noting streets to be utilized as described above.
W
