Construction or substantial progress toward construction of a project must be <br /> undertaken within 2 years after final approval of the permit, and completed within <br /> five years. If the project has not been completed in this time span ihe pennit will <br /> be reviewed by the Planning D;;partment who will do one of following: extend the <br /> permit for one year, or terminate the permit. <br /> 2. A Public Works and Building permit are required. <br /> 3. Comply with the City Sprink;zr Ordinance and the Uniform Building code <br /> regarding the proximity of the new building to existing buildings and the total <br /> size of buildings. <br /> 4. A fire hydra�t is required within 200 driving feet, but not closer than 50 feet, of the !i <br /> structure. M a�ditiona! hydrant must be mstalled. The location of the hydrant <br /> must be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br /> 5. A portable fire extinguisher wiih a minimum UL rating of 2A must be provided <br /> within 75 feet travel distance on each floor of all portions of each building during <br /> construction. <br /> 6. The premises must be clearly identified by address at the street entry. Each <br /> build!ng must be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the access <br /> road. Individual apartments must be clearly identified so as to be visible and <br /> legible from 2he access road. <br /> 7. Fire la��es shall be provided as required in Everett Municipal Code 46.44. Fire <br /> lanes shall be identified by red curbs with white stenciling stating "NO PARICING - <br /> FIRE LANE" and vertical signs stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE - TOW <br /> AWAY ZONE."
