S. Placement and screening of rcfuse disposal areas must bt provided per Section 39.080 of <br /> the Zoning Code as follows: <br /> a. Garbage receptacles, dumpsters, and recycle bins shall be provided in all multiple <br /> family, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments and sha(I not be <br /> located in a required frord yard setback area, or street side setback area for corner <br /> lots. Where an alley abuts a lot, the garbage receptacles, dumpster, or recycle bin <br /> shall be located adjacent to the alley. <br /> b. All garbage dumpsters and recycle bins must be screened from view from the street <br /> and from adjacent properties. This screening may be done using dense vegetation <br /> or by placing the dumpster or recycle bin in a structural enclosure. <br /> c. For specifics on design of refuse and recycling facilities, contact Rubatino Refuse <br /> Removal, Inc. at 254-0044 for areas generally north of 112th Street. For areas <br /> east of I-5 from Valley View south, contact Waste Management Northwest, Inc. at <br /> 337-1197. <br /> 9. Access - O.K. as shown on the site plan reviewed. <br /> When access to or within a structure or an area is unduly diffi:ult because of secured <br /> openings or where immediate access is necessary for life saving or fire-ighting purposed, <br /> the Fire Department may recommend or require a key box to be installed in an access'.ble <br /> location. A rapid entry system may also be desirable in order to avoid unnecessary <br /> damage while making entry to any building during an emergency situation. <br /> Please cali 259-8720 for further information. <br /> lU. Fire lanes m�st be provided as required in Everett Municipal Code 46.44. Fire lanes must <br /> be identified by red curbs with white stenciling stating "NO PARICING-FIRE LANE" <br /> and vertical signs stating "NO PAItKIIJG- FIRE LANE - TOW AWAY ZONE." <br /> Location must be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br /> 11. Yremise Identification - The premises must be clearly identified by address at the street <br /> entry. Each building must be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the <br /> access road. Each suite must be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the <br /> access road. <br /> 12. Hvdrants - One (I) available hydrant is required. It shall be located within 200 d�iving feet <br /> but no closer than 50 feet of the �tructure. Location of the hydrant shall be approved by <br /> the Fire Marshal. <br /> PREMISE IDENTL�ICA?'ION AND ALL REQUIRED FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> ACCESS ROADS ANL FLRE HYDRANTS SHALL BE IN SERVICE PRIOR TO <br /> CUMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION. <br /> 13. Based upon 6,895 square feet ofType V-N, sprinklered construction, the fire flow <br /> requirement is 1,500 gpm. <br /> 14. PoRable Fire Protection - A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum U.J.. rating of <br /> 2-A:10-B:C shall be provided within 75 feet of trave( on all floors of each building during <br /> construction and prior to occupancy. <br /> 4 <br />
