. , w _. - <br /> 40. The City of Everett prohibits outdoor burning. Therefore, outdoor burning for the <br /> purpose of disposing of construction debris or rubbish will not be permitted. <br /> 41. Premise identification and all required Fire Department hydrants and access roads must <br /> be in service prior to commencement of construction. Locations of hydrants shown on <br /> the site plan are acceptable. <br /> 42. Fire safety practices during construction must be in compliance with the Uniform Fire <br /> Code, 1985 Edition, Article 87, "Fire Safety During Construction." <br /> 43. For fire safety in multi-family projects with community laundry facilities, the following is <br /> required: I <br /> a. A self-closing, solid core door must be installed for the laundry room. Any I <br /> restraining device must be activated by an approved smoke detector. I <br /> b. A covered metal container must be provided for the disposal of combustible � <br /> waste in the laundry room. <br /> 44. Trash Collection - Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity shall be located a minimum � <br /> of five feet from the building [UFC 1103.2.2, 1994 Edition�. <br /> 45. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, and <br /> reasonable means of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated during <br /> construction activities can be controlled by wetting those dust sources such as areas of <br /> exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave the site, and installing and <br /> naintaining gravel construction entrances. Construction vehicle track-out is also a <br /> major du:t source. Any evidence of track-out can trigger violations and fines from the <br /> Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Agency. <br /> 46. The proposal must also comply with all other City Code and Ordinance requirements not <br /> specifically set forth herein. <br /> GENERAL INFORMATION <br /> 1. The Snohomish County PUD currently has sufficient capacity to serve the proposed <br /> development. For further information about the electrical service requirements for this <br /> project, please call Kurt Martin of the DistricYs Cu�tomer Engineering O�ce, Everett at <br /> 258-8291. <br /> 2. GTE Northwest Incorporated will provide service to the site. However, new telephone <br /> cable construction will be required in conjunction with the site development. GTE's <br /> engineering will begin when they are notified of your construction schedules and <br /> telephone requirements. <br /> It will be the developer's responsibility to provide a suitable combination of conduit and <br /> trenching and/or riser conduit to accommodate GTE's network communications cable <br /> within the complex. Provided that an acceptable combination of conduit and/or <br /> trenching is incorporated into the project to accommodate GTE's entrance cable, there <br /> will be no costs to the developer for GTE's cable. <br /> If a rearrangement of existing cables on premises or on the right-of-way is necessary, <br /> appropriate charges will be estimated and GTE's Guaranty of Payment form will be <br />
