This PSA is coming to a close (June 30, 2015) and the forester is retiring. However, a critical work item; the development of Federal Safe Harbor and State Cooperative Habitat Enhancement agreements is not complete. The agreements with U.S Fish and Wildlife, Washington State Fish and Wildlife, and the Department of Natural Resources are expected to be completed by October 31, 2015. This amendment to the PSA extends the time of completion to October 31, 2015 with no additional cost, and allows Fairweather Forestry to complete the agreements on behalf of the City. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Fairweather Forestry to provide a time extension to October 31, 2015, at no additional cost to the City.
