June 17, 2015 <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />The City Attorney had no comments. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />Gary Watts, owner of Z Sport; June Robinson; Sam Scoville, Volunteers <br />of America; Sylvia Anderson, Everett Gospel Mission; Greg Wennerborg; <br />Grant Cooper, VOA; Charlene Rawson; and Nanci Olson -Hernandez, <br />owner of The Dog Spot; spoke regarding issues related to Smith Street, <br />including criminal activity, sanitation, public safety, and the homeless <br />population. <br />Cletus Skrabak, Everett, presented nine questions regarding the Police <br />Department Efficiency Assessment and the selection of a consultant. <br />Council President Bader stated that he and CAA/CFO Debra Bryant would <br />work with Mr. Skrabak to answer his questions. <br />Jackie Minchew, Everett, spoke regarding global warming. He questioned <br />the status of milestone 2 of the Climate Action Plan. <br />Council President Bader stated that agenda item no. 2, the Riverfront <br />Update, and item no. 13, the Eighth Amendment to the Property <br />Disposition Agreement, had been pulled from the agenda. <br />Council Member Gipson questioned whether it would be possible to <br />station a full-time police officer in the vicinity of the Gospel Mission to <br />watch for criminal activity.
