Amendment eight seeks to extend the terms of this <br />agreement through December 31, 2009. This extension is required due to delays in implementation of the <br />Regional Smart Card program. This agreement will be replaced by the ORCA (One Regional Card for All) <br />Interlocal Agreement. Sections of this agreement will be terminated as functions of the ORCA program are <br />determined to be fully operational during 2009. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Amendment Eight to Regional Pass and Fare Reconciliation Program <br />Agreement between the City of Everett and Sound Transit, King County Metro, Pierce Transit, and <br />Community Transit. <br />1 <br />
