• <br /> 5. Amendments. This Agreement may be amended only upon written agreement <br /> of the parties, executed in the same manner as provided by law for the execution of this <br /> Agreement. <br /> 6. Duties of the County. <br /> 6.1 Services. The County shall fund an approximate 0.25 FTE Deputy <br /> Prosecuting Attorney position. This position will be responsible for maintaining a <br /> felony level domestic violence unit including promoting domestic violence awareness, <br /> increasing prosecution responsiveness, supporting victims and holding offenders <br /> accountable. The Deputy Prosecuting Attorney shall provide review, evaluation <br /> and/or prosecution for cases involving female victims of domestic violence, sexual <br /> assault or stalking, age 18 and older. In addition, the County shall participate in <br /> enhancing the Snohomish County Coordinated Community Response Team to <br /> increase the safety of victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking and <br /> hold offenders accountable. The Snohomish County Coordinated Community <br /> Response Team shall meet monthly, or at least quarterly, during the period of this <br /> Agreement, with a focus on issues related to responding to adult victims of stalking, <br /> domestic violence, and/or sexual assault, including victims from marginalized <br /> communities. <br /> 6.2 Reporting. The County shall report on a form provided by or approved <br /> by the City which describes work undertaken since the previous reporting period and <br /> indicates the progress made on the work program described in paragraph 6.1 above. <br /> The schedule for submitting reports is: January 10, 2009 and a final report due on <br /> October 10, 2009. <br /> 6.3 Grant Match. The County shall provide a local cash match in the <br /> amount of at least $16,057.00 as partial payment of Deputy Prosecuting Attorney <br /> salary and benefits. <br /> 6.4 Acknowledgment of Federal Funds. The County agrees that all <br /> materials and publications (written, visual or sound) resulting from Award activities <br /> shall contain the following statement: <br /> This project was supported by Grant No. 2008-WF-AX-0008 awarded <br /> by the Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice. <br /> The opinions, findings, conclusions and recommendations expressed <br /> in this publication/program/exhibition are those of the author(s) and do <br /> not necessarily reflect the views of the U.S. Department of Justice, <br /> Office on Violence Against Women. Grant funds are administered by <br /> the Office of Crime Victims Advocacy, Washington State Department <br /> of Community, Trade and Economic Development. <br /> The County agrees to submit to the City one copy of all reports and proposed <br /> publications funded by this Agreement not less than thirty (30) days prior to <br /> INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br /> REGARDING 2008 STOP GRANT Page 2 <br /> 0 <br />
