Because of recent severe weather conditions, there were <br /> delays in processing the EMPG grant orders and vetting of equipment and approval processes. An <br /> Amendment to the contract for additional time is necessary to allow full expenditure of our remaining grant <br /> award. <br /> Amendment A reflects a change in the contract end date from March 31, 2009 to August 31, 2009. No other <br /> changes are required. All other terms and conditions of the original contract remain in full force and effect. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign E08-307 Contract Amendment A between the City of Everett and the. <br /> Washington State Military Department changing the contract end date to August 31, 2009. <br /> 21 <br />
