n EXHIBIT A CITY OF EVERETT DESIGN OF A NEW CLEARWELL AT THE CHAPLAIN RESERVOIR WATER FILTRATION PLANT AMENDMENT NO. 2 SCOPE OF SERVICES The original scope of services for the project was to prepare a preliminary design, final design, and Contract Documents for the construction of a new clearwell for the Chaplain Reservoir Water Filtration Plant (WFP). Amendment No. 1 included additional design phase services and engineering services during construction. Amendment No. 2 includes the scope of services and fee estimate for additional work required during the construction phase, as well as for out-of- scope work completed at the request of the City. This Exhibit A contains the scope of services, while Exhibit B contains the accompanying fee estimate. ENGINEERING SERVICES DURING CONSTRUCTION The scope of services authorized under Amendment One is included below for reference, as well as the scopeof services for this Amendment No. 2. TASK 7 - Construction Support and Inspection 7.1 Project Management Existing Scope: Provide project management services throughout the duration of the project, including overall team and discipline coordination, track time and budget expended, provide monthly summaries, and prepare monthly progress reports to be submitted with invoices. Amendment No. 2 Scope: None Required. 7.2 Review Shop Drawings, Clarifications and Requests for Information Existing Scope: Interpret the drawings and specifications, including the preparation of elementary sketches, to clarify design as may be required by the Contractor(s). Prepare written responses to all Requests for Information (RFls). Review shop drawings and working drawings of fabricated and manufactured equipment submitted by the Contractor.
