The code allows for a one-time extension of up to 6 months. <br /> The proposed ordinance would amend the code so the initial approval is for 24 months,with the possibility <br /> of not more than two 12-month extensions of time. The amendment would effectively double the time frame <br /> in which an approved project may secure building permits.
