EIS. Agencies, affected tribes, and members of the public are invited to comment on the scope <br /> of the EIS. You may comment on alternatives,probable significant adverse impacts, licenses <br /> (permits) or other approvals that may be required, and potential mitigation measures. Proposed <br /> alternatives should be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and Shoreline Master Program <br /> vision statements identified in Attachment 1. Comments on potential public amenities, wetland <br /> enhancements, and project design guidelines are also solicited. <br /> Please submit comments in writing or attend the workshop described below if you have any <br /> comments on the proposed scope of the EIS. <br /> 1. The public comment period will run for 21 days from the date this DS is issued. The date <br /> of issuance of this DS is October 16, 2006. All comments on the scope of the EIS must <br /> be received by November 6,2006. Displays and information will be available for review. At the public <br /> workshop/scoping meeting, the applicant will give a presentation to describe the <br /> proposal, and the public will be given the opportunity to testify on the scope of the issues <br /> that will be addressed in the environmental impact statement. Comments may also be <br /> submitted in writing by the comment deadline to Dave Koenig at the address shown <br /> above. <br /> The applicant is proposing expanded scoping as provided for as an optional process in WAC <br /> 197-11-410. Expanded scoping will include additional meetings with the Tribes, and with <br /> agencies with jurisdiction and expertise.
