Community Development Block Grant - Administration & Planning <br /> Administration is an important aspect of the CDBG program, making sure of the timely <br /> completion of projects and proper management of sub grantees. <br /> The planning aspect of the CDBG funding complements the physical improvements in the <br /> neighborhoods by promoting appropriate land use, historic preservation, and economic <br /> development planning. <br /> Recommended 2009 CDBG Funds: $185,991.00 <br /> Recommended 2009 CDBG Stimulus Funds: $27,394.00 <br /> 2. Interfaith Association — Shelter Improvements <br /> The Interfaith Association of Snohomish County provides an emergency shelter for <br /> families. These funds will be used to replace water damaged flooring and worn <br /> carpeting. <br /> Recommended 2009 - 2060 funds: $16,738.00 <br /> 3. Interfaith Association — Maintenance & Operation <br /> These funds will be used for the maintenance and operation costs associated with <br /> running Interfaith family shelter. <br /> Recommended 2009 2060 funds: $15,612.50 <br /> 4. Cocoon House — Maintenance & Operation <br /> These funds will be used for the maintenance and operation costs associated with <br /> running Cocoon House's youth shelters on Cedar and Pine Streets. <br /> Recommended 2009 2060 funds: $20,000.00 <br /> 5. Housing Hope - Commerce Building Improvements <br /> Housing Hope will use these funds to repair windows and make other energy efficiency <br /> upgrades to the Commerce Building. The Commerce Building houses low-income <br /> residents in downtown Everett. <br /> Recommended 2009 HOME Funds: $350,000.00 <br /> 92 <br />
