Snohomish County Human Services <br /> Weatherization-Related Minor Home Repair <br /> The Snohomish County Department of Human Services, through the low-income <br /> weatherization and repair program, will provide minor home repair services to low- <br /> income homeowners in Everett who are also receiving weatherization services. The <br /> provision of minor home repair services will allow the weatherization program to more <br /> completely weatherize a home or to solve health and safety concerns found within the <br /> home. This program will have oversight from the CHIP program. <br /> Recommended 2009 CDBG Funds: $17,500.00 <br /> 7. Senior Services of Snohomish County - Minor Home Repair <br /> This program provides for the provision of minor and emergency repairs to lower income <br /> elderly and handicapped homeowners citywide. Minor Home Repair fills a serious gap in <br /> housing rehabilitation for persons requiring emergency and minor home repairs. <br /> Recommended 2009 CDBG Funds: $84,000.00 <br /> 8. Everett Gospel Mission — Men's Shelter Improvements <br /> The Everett Gospel Mission will use these funds to replace flooring and a water damaged <br /> roof. <br /> Recommended 2009 2060 Funds: $26,543.00 <br /> 9. Everett Gospel Mission — Women's Shelter Improvements <br /> The Everett Gospel Mission will use these funds to replace flooring in a building which is <br /> now offices and will be converted into a new shelter building. <br /> Recommended 2009 2060 Funds: $30,000.00 <br /> 10. Compass Health - Oakes House Rehabilitation <br /> The Oakes House is a single family home which houses three individuals. Working with <br /> CHIP, Compass Health will renovate the house. <br /> Recommended 2009 CHIP Fund 197 Funds: $68,860.00 <br /> 93 <br />
