March 29, 2017 <br /> Debra Bryant provided a status update for both department studies. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher requested Fire Administration return to <br /> Council to go over the recommendations. <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, stated she would work with Fire <br /> Administration to schedule a presentation. <br /> John Van Dalen, Everett, spoke about the Transportation Benefit District <br /> (TBD) and requested an update on transportation improvements to be <br /> completed with TBD funds. <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, stated she would provide Mr. Van Dalen's <br /> contact information to Traffic Engineering. <br /> Council Member Roberts stated he would like the City to improve <br /> communication and suggested a review by the Transportation Advisory <br /> Committee. <br /> Council Member Murphy asked that City staff update the website with <br /> current information. <br /> Mayor Stephanson suggested that Ryan Sass, City Engineer, provide an <br /> annual update about what overlay work the City is doing on an annual <br /> basis and what transportation projects will be ongoing throughout the year. <br /> Aaron Powell, Everett, expressed concerns about crime near the low- <br /> barrier housing project. <br /> Tyler Rourke, Everett, spoke about bicycle safety and encouraged <br /> everyone to participate in a community bike ride to be held on Earth Day, <br /> April 22, 2017. <br /> Mark Ford, Seattle, spoke in opposition of Uber business practices and <br /> the effect Uber operations are having on cab companies. <br /> 98 <br />
