The completion date in the original loan documents was March 30, 2009. The start of the Clearwell
project was delayed so that the new disinfection facility could be completed. As a result of the delay, the
estimated completion date for the Clearwell project is now December 31, 2009. This required Public Works
Department to submit an extension request to the Public Works Board for consideration.
The Public Works Board approved an extension request at their March 2009 meeting and forwarded
amendment No. 1 to the City for the Mayor's signature
RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council):
Authorize the mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the 2005 Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Loan 05-
96300-013.
6
