There is a non- <br /> supplantation requirement and no local match is required. The Intergovernmental Agreement establishes the <br /> framework between the Commission and the EPD for accomplishing the patrols, classes, and special <br /> emphasis enforcement. The ultimate goal is to reduce injury from boating incidents and to promote a safe <br /> and enjoyable boating environment for all users. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Intergovernmental Agreement#2009-66 between Washington State Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission and Everett Police Department for 2009 Marine Law Enforcement Grant in the <br /> amount of$55,636.00 and to execute grant award documentation.. <br /> 9 <br />
