ROBIN KIRSCHBAUM, INC. watert epnignneg g EXHIBIT A S C 5,t W { BACKGROUND On August 1, 2012, the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) reissued the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit (permit), effective August 1, 2013 through July 31, 2018.As a Phase Il Permittee, the City of Everett (City)was required to update their Stormwater Management Manual (SWMM) to make Low Impact Development (LID) the preferred and commonly used approach to new and redevelopment. The updated SWMM, effective December 31, 2016, adopted the guidance of the 2014 Ecology Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington (Ecology Manual). The City has retained Robin Kirschbaum, Inc. (RKI, Consultant) to assist with implementing the updated SWMM and other new requirements of the permit. The Consultant will also provide engineering support services to assist the City with engineering design or design review as- needed. The anticipated tasks for this project are listed below: • Task 100— Project Management • Task 200— NPDES Technical Assistance • Task 300— Engineering Support Services TASK 100: Project Management Objective Manage the project successfully by delivering services on time, on budget, and in accordance with professional industry standards. Consultant Services 1. Submit monthly invoice and progress report, including a description of work accomplished in the previous month, work planned for the coming month, and summary of scope or schedule issues. 2. Retain and coordinate the work of Subconsultants, as applicable. 3. Participate in project management meetings with the City's Project Manager to discuss status of scope, schedule, budget, and other project issues as applicable.
