n <br /> AMENDMENT NO.1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> AND <br /> NORTHWEST CORROSION ENGINEERING <br /> WHEREAS,Northwest Corrosion Engineering,and the City entered into an Agreement dated March <br /> 6, 2008, ("Agreement")to provide professional corrosion and coating related engineering and other <br /> consulting services to the City related to the Utilities Department and their steel utility transmission <br /> lines; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City continues to need professional corrosion engineering and other consulting <br /> services related to the Utility for continuous operations and protection of our corrosion susceptible <br /> pipelines and structures; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City and Northwest Corrosion Engineering.,agree to amend their Agreement to: (a) <br /> modify the scope as attached to make current;and(b)extend the time for completion from December <br /> June 30,2009 to December 31,2010. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City of Everett and Northwest Corrosion Engineering, agree to amend and <br /> modify the previously amended Agreement as follows: <br /> 1. The Scope of Work as described in Exhibit A of the Agreement is modified per the attached <br /> Exhibit A of this amendment. <br /> 2.
