The Fireman's Fund Heritage program is a national, community- based program that provides needed equipment, fire prevention tools and firefighter training for local fire departments, as well as community fire safety education. The Heritage rewards program is set up for a select number of insurance brokerage agencies that place insurance with Fireman's Fund. As one of those select agencies, Hall-Conway-Jackson has earned 14,501 points and they are proposing that 100%of those points be directed to the Everett Fire Department. This equates to $14,501 in grant monies. Before the$14,501 in grant funds can be dispersed to the Everett Fire Department,two tasks must be completed: 1) the Grant Compliance Agreement must be signed and returned, and 2)the Online Application must be completed and submitted. By authorizing the Mayor to execute the Grant Compliance Agreement, the City will also be authorized to complete the Online Application.
