3 <br /> 7.4 Attend pre-construction meeting and site visits as requested by the City project manager. <br /> 7.5 Assist with initialand final punch lists. <br /> Deliverables: Shop drawing review emails <br /> Written response to submittals,_RFC's and RFI's <br /> Task 8 Unanticipated Services. <br /> This task provides a contingency budget that may be made available to fund additional services not described in <br /> the foregoing tasks and for direct labor escalation for services that may be performed in 2010. Potential <br /> unanticipated services may include significant changes to design concept or anticipated level of effort required for <br /> utility coordination and bidding and construction support. Expenditure of these funds may only be authorized in <br /> writing by the City of Everett. <br /> ASSUMPTIONS <br /> Final design will bebased on Alternative 3 of the Schematic Design Report dated October 10,2008. <br /> Design will be in accordance with the current City of Everett Design Standards,as published on the City of <br /> Everett websiteat http://www_ci.everett.wa.us/pdf/Engineering/SpecDocs/2007StdSpecs Combined.pdf. CADD <br /> drawings will be prepared using AutoCAD 2008 software. <br /> Drawing plan scale will be 1"=20' horizontal and l"=5' vertical for full-size(22'x34")plan sheets. <br /> City staff will lead the SEPA and permitting processes. Consultant will prepare permit applications and <br /> supporting engineering and design documentation in support of permit applications. Project permitting will not <br /> require a Biological Evaluation,Biological Assessment,or ESA Agency Consultation. Project permitting will not <br /> require wetland delineation or permitting. <br /> City staff will lead public and neighborhood outreach efforts to inform residents in the project vicinity of the <br /> scope and nature of the project and anticipated construction impacts,and to solicit comments and questions from <br /> the community. <br /> City staff will assemble contract documents from final plans, special provisions, and cost estimates prepared by <br /> the Consultant, <br /> City staff will lead bidding and perform construction management. Consultant will provide design support during <br /> bidding construction as requested by the City. <br /> The duration of this project is'assumed to be 12 months from notice-to-proceed. <br /> Page5of7 23 <br />
