Parks and Recreation staff met with <br />representatives of LCA to discuss the potential for such a process. The outcome was an agreement to conduct <br />a one-year trial program at Lowell Park to determine if such a process would be viable. The attached <br />Memorandum of Understanding between the City and LCA defines responsibilities of the parties to develop, <br />participate in, and evaluate the trial program. <br />RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Everett and the Lowell <br />Civic Association.for a one-year Pesticide -Free Trial program at Lowell Park. <br />11 <br />
