Please submit two sets of drawings with a response letter indicating how <br /> corrections are resolved on the plan set. Thank you for providing an overall plan of the building; <br /> however, the building plans submitted indicate a different scope of work than what is proposed for this <br /> tenant space. <br /> General <br /> 1. New walls and ceilings should include detailed sections to indicate construction. <br /> Occupancy <br /> 1. The code analysis for this tenant space and for the building should be shown on the drawings, <br /> to include: <br /> a. Occupancy type, area, and occupant loads per IBC table 1004.1.2 for this tenant <br /> improvement only. <br /> b. Applicable codes. <br /> c. Existing sprinkler and fire detection systems. <br /> Construction <br /> J 1. Wall construction should be detailed on the drawings to resist a minimum 5 psf horizontal load, <br /> per IBC section 1607.14. <br /> 2. Ceiling construction and support should be shown on the drawings to show compliance with the <br /> attached Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau details, per IBC section 808. <br /> 3. New doors and hardware should be shown on the drawings to meet minimum size requirements <br /> and hardware graspability, per IBC sections 1008.1.1 and 1008.1.9.1. <br /> a. Door elevation should be shown with finish materials for safety glazing locations, per <br /> IBC section 2406.4.1. <br /> Additional Comments <br /> 1. Mechanical, plumbing, suppression, detection and electrical permits can be applied for and <br /> obtained after the building permit is issued. Electrical permits are required for new outlets and <br /> lighting for the new ceiling.
