JO <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> PLANNING DIRECTOR DECISION <br /> Use Permit with Conditions—REV 115-010 <br /> January 7,2016 <br /> Applicant: Brian Bodge <br /> Globodryne Industries,Inc. <br /> 523 61' Street SE <br /> Everett, WA 98203 <br /> Project Location: 3015 Everett Avenue <br /> Everett,WA 98201 <br /> Project Description: Locate a marijuana retailer at 3015 Everett Avenue. <br /> Zoning: B-2, Community Business <br /> Background: On October 30, 2015, the Washington State Liquor Control Board issued a marijuana <br /> retailer license to the applicant, Globodyne Industries,Inc. The Applicant then submitted a business <br /> license application to the City of Everett. In review of the business license application, the Planning <br /> Department determined that a Use Permit was required for the property. A Use Permit application <br /> was submitted by the Applicant on November 18, 2015. <br /> Marijuana retailers may operate in the City of Everett pursuant to state law,Washington State <br /> Liquor Control Board regulations and local restrictions. <br /> DECISION: The Planning Director APPROVES with CONDITIONS a marijuana retailer at 3015 <br /> Everett Avenue.All conditions must be met prior to marijuana retailer operations.The city <br /> shall retain the right to revoke a permit issued under this section that fails to comply with any <br /> conditions of approval, or which operates in a manner inconsistent with representations made in the <br /> application,pursuant to Chapter 1.20. <br /> Conditions of Approval: <br /> 1) The marijuana retail operation must comply with all state and local regulations. Any violations <br /> of local regulations are subject to enforcement under the provisions of Chapter 1.20 of the <br /> Everett Municipal Code or through action of the City Attorney seeking injunctive or other civil <br /> relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. <br /> 2) A Building Permit is required for this project. An application and plans,including a front <br /> building elevation, floor plans,site plan and landscaping plan, are required to be submitted at <br /> the Permit Services counter for the Change of Occupancy per the submittal requirements. <br /> Inspections and final approvals are required for this project prior to any business operations. <br /> 3) A Public Works Permit is required for this project. Detailed drawings in accordance with <br /> ciuzent City Design and Construction Standards and Specifications for Development shall be <br /> submitted to the Public Works Department, at the Permit Services counter, showing all proposed <br /> site parking layout, landscaping,utilities, storm drainage,temporary construction erosion <br /> control, and all required improvements in the public right-of-way. Public Works Department <br /> approval of these drawings is required prior to any permits being issued.
