CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> identified with Bidder's name and address, Project name and number, and Owner's name on <br /> outside. <br /> C. The submission of a Bid by the Bidder shall constitute acknowledgment that, in preparing and <br /> submitting a Bid, Bidder has not only reviewed the Contract Documents, Bidder is also relying <br /> on their own knowledge, examination, inspection, and testing of: <br /> 1. the Site of the Work, <br /> 2. access to the Site, <br /> 3. environmental factors, <br /> 4. all other data, matters and things requisite to the fulfillment of the Work, <br /> 5. conditions ordinarily to be encountered and generally recognized as inherent in the Work, <br /> 6. available services and utilities at and in the vicinity of the Site of the Work, and <br /> 7. all applicable federal, state and local statutes, ordinances, and regulations dealing with <br /> building, public health and safety, or with the prevention of environmental pollution and <br /> the preservation of public natural resources, and environmental assessments or impact <br /> statements which have been prepared relating to the Work. <br /> D. Bidder acknowledges that he/she has not relied on representation or warranty of the City not <br /> expressly included in the Contract Documents. <br /> E. The information provided by the City is not intended to be a substitute for, or a supplement to, <br /> the independent verification by the Bidder to the extent such independent investigation of the <br /> Drawings and Specifications or Site conditions is deemed necessary or desirable by the Bidder. <br /> F. Bidder acknowledges that they have not relied upon City or Architect or Engineer furnished <br /> information regarding site conditions in preparing and submitting a Bid. <br /> G. An abstract summary of submitted Bids will be made available to all Bidders following Bid <br /> opening. <br /> 1.14 BID INELIGIBILITY <br /> A. Bids that are unsigned, improperly signed or sealed, conditional, illegible, and obscure, or Bids <br /> that contain arithmetical errors, erasures, alterations, or irregularities, may be rejected. <br /> B. Do not qualify Bids, since this will automatically be cause for rejection of the Bid. <br /> 1.15 BID SECURITY <br /> A. Bids shall be accompanied by Bid security as follows: <br /> 1.
