Preconstruction conference meeting. <br /> B. Progress meetings. <br /> 1.2 RELATED SECTIONS <br /> A. Section 01 50 00—Temporary Facilities and Controls. <br /> B. Section 01 78 39—Project Record Documents. <br /> 1.3 PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING <br /> A. The Contractor shall attend a mandatory preconstruction meeting at the Water Filtration Plant <br /> (WFP) Operations Building conference room. During the preconstruction meeting, the <br /> Contractor will have an opportunity to conduct a site walk. <br /> B. At the meeting,the Owner will discuss, but not limited to,the following topics: <br /> 1. Safety; <br /> 2. Specific details of the Work; <br /> 3. Owner's expectations; <br /> 4. Utilities lead time and shutdown durations, as noted on the Contract Drawings; <br /> 5. Housekeeping; <br /> 6. Waste management (see Section 01 74 19 — Construction Waste Management and <br /> Disposal); and <br /> 7. Potential impact to the Work due to weather. <br /> C. The Contractor is required to discuss project safety. <br /> D. Attendance is required by: <br /> 1. Contractor's superintendent; and <br /> 2. Contractor's foreman. <br /> E. Attendance is highly recommended by the following: <br /> 1. Contractor"Competent Person(s)"responsible for safety program; <br /> 2. Foremen,principal subcontractors (15%of construction or more); <br /> 3. Foremen, all subcontractors dealing with specific safety and hazardous materials <br /> subjects; and <br /> 4.
