CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> SECTION 013300—SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br /> PART 1 —GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SECTION INCLUDES <br /> A. Submittal procedures. <br /> 1.2 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br /> A. Provide space for the Contractor and the Owner's Representative review stamps. <br /> B. Apply the Contractor's stamp. Sign or initial as certification that review, verification of <br /> products required, field dimensions, adjacent construction work, and coordination of <br /> information are in accordance with the requirements of the Work and the Contract <br /> Documents. Submittals without the Contractor's stamp will be rejected. <br /> C. Schedule submittals to expedite the Project. Identify long lead time items requiring <br /> expediting. Deliver the schedule to the Owner's Representative. Coordinate submittals of <br /> related items. Revise the schedule as Project proceeds. Allow 10 working days for the <br /> Engineer's review. <br /> 1. When it is not feasible to comply with the schedule, allow for reasonable rescheduling. <br /> Confer with the Owner's Representative to request fair assessment and required <br /> rescheduling. <br /> 2. When additional review and approval beyond the Engineer is required, allow 10 <br /> working days for each reviewing agency. <br /> D. Transmit each submittal with the Owner-accepted form. Sequentially number the transmittal <br /> forms. <br /> E. Identify the Project, Contractor, subcontractor or supplier, pertinent Drawing sheet and detail <br /> number(s), specification section number, and other relevant information. <br /> F. Reviewed submittals will be transmitted from Engineer to Owner's Representative for return <br /> to the Contractor. <br /> G. Revise and resubmit submittals as required, identifying changes made since previous <br /> submittal. Identify resubmittals with original number and an alphabetic suffix. <br /> H. Distribute copies of reviewed and accepted submittals to concerned parties.
