CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> 1.18 BID FORM SIGNATURE <br /> A. Sign Bid Form as follows: <br /> 1. Sole Proprietorship: <br /> a. Signature of sole proprietor. <br /> b. Include words "Sole Proprietor" under signature. <br /> c. Include individual's name and post office address. <br /> 2. Partnership: <br /> a. Signature of at least one of the general partners. <br /> b. Include word "Partner" under signature. <br /> c. Include post office address for firm or partnership. <br /> 3. Corporation: <br /> a. Signature of at least one duly authorized signing officer. <br /> b. Include officer's capacity/title under each signature. <br /> c. Show the name of the state under the laws of which the corporation is chartered. <br /> d. Include the corporation's name and post office address. <br /> 4. Joint Venture: <br /> a. Signature of a representative of one of party of joint venture. <br /> 1.19 BID OPENING <br /> A. Description: <br /> 1. Bids will be opened publicly immediately after time for receipt of Bids that is noted in <br /> the Advertisement for Bids. <br /> 2. Bidders may not be present. <br /> 1.20 DURATION OF OFFER <br /> A. Bids shall remain open to acceptance and shall be irrevocable for a period of 45 calendar days <br /> after Bid closing date. <br /> 1.21 EVALUATION OF BIDS <br /> A. Bids will be evaluated by the City to determine which bid is the lowest responsive bid by a <br /> responsible bidder and which bid, if any, should be accepted in the best interest of the City. <br /> 1. The City will award the Project to the responsive and responsible bidder whose Bid is the <br /> lowest. <br /> a.
