Notice to Bidders: Bidders may submit bids for Project as described in this Document. Submit <br /> bids according to the Instructions to Bidders. <br /> B. Project Identification: WFP OPERATIONS BUILDING SEISMIC RETROFIT REBID — <br /> UP3600 <br /> 1. Project Location: 6133 Lake Chaplain Rd, Monroe,WA <br /> C. Owner: City of Everett, 3200 Cedar St,Everett,WA. <br /> 1. Owner's Representative: Richard Hefti,PE, Project Manager,rhefti@everettwa.gov. <br /> D. Architect/Engineer: AECOM, Century Square, 1501 4th Ave, Suite 1400, Seattle, WA 98101, <br /> (208)438-2700. <br /> E. Project Description: This project provides a voluntary seismic retrofit of the City of Everett's <br /> WFP Operations Building at the Chaplain Reservoir near Monroe, Washington. The voluntary <br /> seismic retrofit is limited primarily to the original 1980s portion of the WFP Operations <br /> Building and includes both structural and nonstructural measures for this facility. The stair <br /> tower structure at the southwest corner and office addition at the southeast portion of the <br /> Operations Building are separate structures that were added in the 1990s and are not included in <br /> this retrofit. Retrofit measures are indicated on the project drawings and described in further <br /> detail in Section 011100—Summary of Work <br /> F. Total Project Cost: Total Project cost estimated to be $986,895 with up to $673,133 Federal <br /> funds,up to $112,355 State funds, and minimum$200,407 local funds. <br /> 1. Engineer's estimate for work within this Contract is $900,000. <br /> 1.2 BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING <br /> A. Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the Bid Time on the Bid Date at the Office of the <br /> City Clerk at the location given below. Bids will not be received thereafter. <br /> 1. Bid Date: January 31,2017. <br /> 2. Bid Time: 2:00 p.m.,local time. <br /> 3. Location: Office of the City Clerk, 2930 Wetmore Ave, Everett,WA 98201. <br /> B. All bids must be submitted on upon the forms provided by Owner for this purpose. <br /> C. At the Bid Time, the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Office of the City <br /> Clerk. <br /> D. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or <br /> informalities. <br /> E. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the Bid Time, except as otherwise provided in <br /> Document 002113 -Instructions To Bidders. <br /> F.
