This agreement will allow the City to purchase from the numerous contracts which <br /> have been competitively awarded by the State for a period of two years, for a membership fee of$10,000. <br /> Savings from the purchase of vehicles, fuel and other items far outweigh the administrative fee collected by <br /> the State. <br /> RCW 39.34 allows cooperative purchasing between public agencies (political subdivisions). <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign State of Washington Intergovernmental Agreement for State Purchasing <br /> Cooperative in the amount of$10,000. <br /> 9 <br />
