f + <br /> Subj : MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT <br /> OF A PARK-N-RIDE AND ROUTE SERVICES FROM SMOKEY POINT <br /> COMPLEX TO NAVAL STATION EVERETT WATERFRONT <br /> required to possess appropriate base access identification. <br /> Personnel without appropriate identification will not be allowed <br /> access and must exit the bus outside the perimeter gate barrier. <br /> (8) Ensure drivers cooperate with any commercial vehicle <br /> inspection prior to entry onto the installation. At a minimum, <br /> the undercarriage, interior, and engine compartment will be <br /> inspected at each entry. <br /> (9) Provide oversight on credentialing all Everett <br /> Transit drivers and vehicles in accordance with the requirements <br /> of reference (g) as follows : <br /> (a) Ensure all vehicles operated by Everett Transit <br /> and entering on to Smokey Point Complex and NAVSTA Everett are <br /> properly registered with the Washington State Division of Motor <br /> Vehicles, pass all safety inspections for commercial vehicles in <br /> accordance with Washington State law, have documentation of <br /> proof of liability insurance, and are licensed to operate as a <br /> shuttle service . <br /> (b) Ensure that all Route 79 Express drivers possess <br /> a valid Commercial Drivers License to operate a multi-passenger <br /> vehicle in accordance with reference (h) . <br /> (c) Assist all Route 79 Express drivers in <br /> submitting the required paperwork to successfully complete the <br /> required Navy background check and documentation of each <br /> driver' s "Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9" and <br /> other supporting documents required to complete mandatory <br /> screening for authorization and base access in accordance with <br /> reference (g) . <br /> (d) Ensure Route 79 Express drivers take precautions <br /> to protect government issued identification badges against loss <br /> or theft . Immediately notify NAVSTA Everett Security Department <br /> Pass & Identification Watch Captain in the event of loss, theft <br /> or destruction of issued identification badges . <br /> (e) Only assign drivers approved by NAVSTA Everett <br /> in accordance with reference (g) to perform Route 79 Express <br /> driving responsibilities .
