10 <br /> Subj : MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT <br /> OF A PARK-N-RIDE AND ROUTE SERVICES FROM SMOKEY POINT <br /> COMPLEX TO NAVAL STATION EVERETT WATERFRONT <br /> (2) Assume financial responsibilities for designing, <br /> purchasing, installing, and maintaining all required signage at <br /> the Smokey Point Complex park-n-ride location. The design of <br /> all signage providing information on park-n-ride use and Route <br /> 79 Express schedules will be coordinated with the NAVSTA Everett <br /> PWD to ensure compliance with Navy sign requirements . <br /> (3) Assume financial responsibility for all costs <br /> related to the operation of Route 79 Express service. <br /> (4) Provide fixed route bus service (Route <br /> rvUte 7 7 <br /> Express) <br /> each weekday by initially providing four morning trips and five <br /> evening trips effective Monday, November 30 , 2009 . An additional <br /> southbound route leaving Smokey Point at 6 : 30 p.m. and <br /> transiting directly to NAVSTA Everett will be provided at the <br /> conclusion of the normal operating schedule in the event <br /> military personnel located at Smokey Point desire transportation <br /> to NAVSTA Everett . Service shall not operate on holidays on <br /> which Everett Transit provides only a Sunday or Holiday level of <br /> service . Everett Transit reserves the right to adjust the route <br /> schedule and number of trips based on the service demand. <br /> Everett Transit shall provide the Navy with a minimum of thirty <br /> (30) days written notice for any proposed changes to service, to <br /> include proposed route changes, days of service and/or service <br /> frequency. <br /> (5) Enter Smokey Point Complex from 136th Street NE and <br /> turn left onto 45th Avenue NE entering the parking lot behind the <br /> Navy Gateway Inns and Suites to the identified bus stop as shown <br /> in enclosure (2) . The bus will exit the parking lot via the <br /> same access roads . <br /> (6) Ensure that all non-DOD affiliated personnel <br /> disembark prior to arrival at NAVSTA Everett . Drivers will <br /> notify passengers of the requirement to disembark at the Route <br /> 79 Express transit stop immediately prior to NAVSTA Everett . In <br /> the event non-DOD affiliated personnel refuse to disembark, <br /> drivers will contact an Everett Transit supervisor for <br /> assistance . <br /> (7) Ensure all buses enter and exit NAVSTA Everett via <br /> the North "Commercial Gate" .
