2y <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled <br /> "Horizon Elementary School Walk Route Safety Improvements,"Fund <br /> 303, Program 087, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett is committed to the implementation of safety enhancements; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett has received a State grant to implement school safety <br /> enhancements in the vicinity of Horizon Elementary School; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 087, and entitled <br /> "Horizon Elementary School Walk Route Safety Improvements," to accumulate all costs for the <br /> improvement project. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 087, for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the 'Public Works Director," under direction of the Mayor, to <br /> assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to <br /> accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of$400,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 087, "Horizon Elementary <br /> School Walk Route Safety Improvements," as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs: <br /> Design and Construction $ 415,000.00 <br /> B. Sources of Funds: <br /> Safe Routes to School — State Grant $ 415,000.00 <br /> 94 <br />
