In concept, this does not change the building elevations that were of concern to the city council. In order to formally
document approval of this change, we will need the following from you:
1. A letter requesting a change in the design as summarized above, along with the reason it is necessary
2. A detailed landscape plan showing the location and height of each wall, the revised landscape plan for this area to show
how the new configuration meets the requirements for the frontage landscaping (specifically how required trees can live
successfully in the modified planting beds), walkways including connection from the on-site walkway to the public
sidewalk, fencing and gates, and connection to the east property line, materials proposed for retaining wall (rock,
concrete, masonry, etc.) and fencing, and photos of similar retaining walls and landscaping treatments using terraced
retaining walls.
If the plans show the quality anticipated by the public, planning commission and city council, we can approve a revision
to the landscape plan without requiring a public process.
Allan Giffen, Director
City of Everett Planning Department
425 257-8725
z ,'
