Institute or by another state with which Washington has a reciprocity agreement. <br />Within 30 days after coming into service, an installation checklist form must be <br />provided to the Department of Ecology by the company that performed the <br />installation work. <br />34. New tanks and any connected piping must be protected from corrosion by either <br />a cathodic protection system, or by being constructed or coated with a non- <br />corrosive material such as fiberglass. An acceptable method of leak detection <br />must be employed, and the tanks must be equipped with spill prevention and <br />overfill protection equipment. <br />35. If storage tanks contain dangerous or hazardous wastes as defined in WAC 173- <br />303, please contact the Northwest Regional Office, Hazardous Waste and <br />Toxics Reduction Section, at (206)867-7000 for closure requirements. <br />36. Stage I vapor recovery equipment required on all new gasoline dispensing <br />facilities with a total gasoline nominal storage capacity greater than 10,000 <br />gallons. Also, a certified stage II vapor recovery system is required on all new <br />gasoline dispensing facilities with greater than 10,000 gallons gasoline nominal <br />storage capacity in western Washington counties (ref. Chapter 173-491, WAC, <br />6/93). <br />37. The Snohomish County PUD currently has sufficient capacity to serve the <br />proposed development.
