23. A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum UL rating of 2-A:10-B:C must be <br />provided within 75 feet of travel distance of all portions of each building during <br />construction. <br />24. Fire lanes must be provided as required in Everett Municipal Code 46.44. Fire <br />lanes must be identified by red curbs with white stenciling stating "NO PARKING <br />- FIRE LANE" and vertical signs stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE - TOW <br />AWAY ZONE." Location must be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />25. The Premises must be clearly identified by address at the street entry. Each <br />building must be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the street. <br />26. The City of Everett prohibits outdoor burning. Therefore, outdoor burning for the <br />purpose of disposing of construction debris or rubbish will not be permitted. <br />27. Fire hydrants and access roads must be in service prior to commencement of <br />construction. <br />28. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, <br />and reasonable means of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust <br />generated du. ing construction activities can be controlled by wetting those dust <br />sources such as areas of exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave <br />the site, and installing and maintaining gravel construction entrances. <br />Construction vehicle track -out is also a major dust source. Any evidence of <br />track -out can trigger violations and fines from the Department of Ecology or the <br />Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Agency. <br />29. Permits are required from the Fire Department .or installation of underground <br />fuel tanks. Additional information as required under Item III of the underground <br />tank installation standards must be provided to the Fire Department prior to the <br />issuance of any permit to install tanks and the related dispensing equipment. <br />30. Attached are the conditions for underground tank removal and for underground <br />tank installation for the City of Everett. The project must be in compliance with <br />these conditions. <br />31. Installation of new underground storage tanks must meet the requirements of the <br />new State Underground Storage Tank regulations (173-360 WAC). Copies of <br />these regulations and required forms are available from the Department of <br />Ecology by calling (206)407-7202, or toll -free in state 1-800-826-7716. <br />32. A notice of intent to install tanks must be filed with the Department of Ecology at <br />least 30 days prior to installation. Within 30 days after coming into service, the <br />tanks must be registered with the Department of Ecology on a state notification <br />form. <br />33. All firms providing tank installation services must be registered with the <br />Department of Ecology. The supervisor on site during installation must be <br />licensed by passing an exam administereu by the International Fire Code <br />
