Fire Suppression (Sprinklerl Svstem - An approved automatic suppression system shall be <br />provided as required by Ciry Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 1 G.76, of the Everetl Municipal <br />Code. The system must include a mechanical water gong bell. <br />Plans for any such system shall be sub�nitted to ihe Building Department (or examination and <br />approval. Such plans shall include plans for the underground mains that will supply the sprinkler <br />system. <br />The type o! sprinkler to be installed will be determined by lhe Building Official. It may be an NFPA <br />13, NFPA 13R, or NFPA 13D system depending upon several faclors. Sprinkler installation shall <br />not begin without an approved and stamped set of plans from the Building Depariment. The Fire <br />Departmen! will also review ihe plans and shall field inspect the installation based only on <br />approved plans that must be on sile. Changes to plans must be approved by both lhe Building <br />and Fire Depariments. <br />Aboveground sprinkler piping shall be hydrostaticaily tested as established in NFPA Standard 13. <br />Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as eslablished in NFPA Standard <br />24 tor private fire mains. Below-qround pipinq must be installed bv Washinqton State Patrol <br />artment at (425) 257-8123. Public Works Department approval of <br />these drawings is required prior to any permits being issued. Indoor/outdoor balting cages do not have a standard parking requiremenl, rather <br />Ihe parking is esiablished by a parking study. The existing facility contains an outdoor batting <br />cage area, an indoor batting cage, miniature golf area, and office/banquet space. The proposed <br />new batting caye will eliminate ihe miniature goli area oi� site.
