I <br />SUPPLEMENT TO DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE <br />F������l.�±wi:V�}�il <br />Location <br />The aite is located or. the south sida of 112th St. SW, approximately <br />600 feet west of the intersection of 112th St. SW and Hwy 99. <br />Existinq Usu <br />The eite currently has an unu3ed duplex that will be remodalled into <br />an office for activitias associated with the proposal. <br />Topoqraphy/Soils/Earth <br />The eite 1s qenarally flat with a qentla eloge (2.5-4 percant) to the <br />south. The Soil Conservation Service Soil Survev of Snohomish Countv <br />rea Washinaton (sheet 44) idantiPies Alderwood No. 5 soils with a <br />hydrology group of C. <br />Air <br />Other than constructiun related air emissions, the proposal will hava <br />no perticular impacts upon air quality. <br />Water <br />The npper reaches oP Swamp Craek run west to east acroas the southern <br />portion of the site. Wetlands were delineated by Snohomish County <br />Planning Department Water Resources biologista uaing the unified <br />federal methodology for identifying and dalineating jurisdictional <br />wetlands. A watlands mitiqation-enhancement plan has been approved by_ <br />that department. <br />Vegetation <br />The sita has deciduous treea, native shrubs and qrasses throughout the <br />undisturbed portion of the site. <br />Animals <br />Robin and other birds common to residential and commercial areas have <br />been observed on-site. Mammals (i.e. field mice) that would normally <br />axist in semi-dev�loped grassy/wooded areaa are expected to inhabit <br />the site. <br />Energy and Natural Resources <br />Normal use of electricity for the facility will be the only known <br />impact on energy or natural resources. <br />
