The <br />applicant proposes to rezone a 0.56 acre site located east of 19th Avenue SE and north of I 16th Street <br />SE, from R-I (Single Family Detached Low Densiry) to B-1 (Neighborhood Shopping). T'he applicant <br />proposes to combine the subject site with adjacent property that he owns as an integrated redevelopment <br />as a small shopping center. The Planning Commission recommended approval, subjec: to a Resolution <br />of Intent to Rezone, which would modif} some of the B-1 zone development standards. A Rezone <br />ordinnnce would not be adopted until development of the site was completed in accordance with the plan <br />approved in the Resolution. 'I'he proposed shopping center development is also subject to approval of a <br />shoreline permit.
