12. The builder should use compost and products made from recyclable materials <br />wherever possible during construction and landscaping of the project. Compost <br />can be used as a soil amendment in beds as well as in erosion control. Uses of <br />produds ccmtaining recycled materials include pa�lcing lot bumper stops, park <br />and picnic benche�, landscape timbars and sign posts made irom recyGed <br />plastic, rubberized asphalt made with recyGed tires, glassphalt made with <br />ground glass, insulation and other building materials. <br />13. The Washingto�i State Clean Air Act requires the use of all knrn.ni, available, <br />and reasn�able means ot controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust <br />generated durirfl constructior� activities can be controlled by wetting those dust <br />sources such as ar3as cf oxposed soils, washing truck wheels bb�r.�re they leave <br />the sitfl, end installing and maint�ining �ravel constn�r.tion entrances. <br />Construction e•ehicle track-out is also a majur dust source.
