12. The builder should use compost and products made from recydabie materials <br />wherever possible durinp consWction and landscaping of the project. Compost <br />can be used as a soil amendment in beds as well as in erosion control. Uses of <br />products containing recyGed materials include pnAcing lot bumper stops, park <br />and picnic benches, landscape timbers and sipn posts made from recyGed <br />piastic, rubberized asphalt made with recyGed tires, glassphalt made with <br />ground glass, insulation and other building materials. <br />13. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, <br />and reasonable means of controlling air pollution, inGudirig dust. Dust <br />generated during consWction activiGes can be controlled by wetting those dust <br />sources such as areas of exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave <br />the site, and installing and maintaining gravel consWction enVances. <br />Construction vehicle track-out is also a major dust source.
