01/12/2005 22:54 2538582534 8 A I 1
outlet device, the surcounding development could dump
excess water into Wetland C and kill the trees. Roof run-off
and other clean water irom the site wfll be discherged into
Wetland C to ensure hydrology and prevent surrounding
development from cutting off hydrology.
Shore stabilization Is not applicable.
Pollution assimllation and sediment retenton will be
unchanged for Wetlands A and B. Wetlahd A will be slightly
fllled, but it will be insigniFicant compared to the remaining
aroas of Wetland B and lhe conslricted outlets. The pollution
assimllation and sediment rotention of WeUand C will be
enhanced, as there will bo an ovelow forcing stream water to
dump into Wetland C from tho surrounding developed rea.
Floodwater and storago of Wetlends A and B will be relatively
unchanged. Watlend A wfll have a loss of some storm water,
but lhis wlll be restored through the construction of tract 996,
the storm water trect. Wetland C will have an Increased velue
for service run-oH and 11ood storago by receiving water from
the development and discharge through a controlled outlet.
StoRn water retention is tho same as above.
Stream base flow maintenance will be relatively unchanged.
There w(II be a slight modification of Wetland C, but it will not
bo measurable.
There wili be no chango in ground water recherge.
(t,) BuHer Functional Values Replacement
BuHer functional valuo for flsh and wlldllfe will be enhanced
over the standard proJect approach. In the standard project,
tract 996 would be designated lots to be cut and cleared.
Under the proposed large area of tract 996, the butfer added
area would be preserved. This will be desfgnated buffer of
Wellands A and C and be a substanUal enhancement over the
traditional 25-foot buifer.
Runoff absorption of the enhancod buffer will Improve over
existing condltions.
3BA7 B8/1, Inc. 1111I05
