Tho ovorall screening for the majority of high
quality Wetland B will be improved lhrough the designatfon of
tract 996 buffer added area.
Provisions of nutrients and woody debris for downstream will
be unchanged, as Wetland A wlll be partlally fllled. However,
the enhancemenl wfll offset the impacts, Malntaining a larger
area of buffer in tract 996 around Wetland 8 offers a greater
chance for woody debris to fall into the beaver pond and be
transferred downstream.
(c) Innovativo Dosign
Section 30.62.370 (2) Innovative Developmenl Design has criteria for
approval (a). The Innovative des(cn will result in the net
Improvement of the function values of these wetlands and their
buffers as follows;
Wetland A Is a Palustrine emergent, reed canary grass wetland that
has been partially dra(ned through the construction of the ditch off-
site to the northwest. Water level has been lowered, and exotic
Invasive vegetation dominatos. Further the buffer (s dominated by
Himalayan blackberry. Portions of Wetland A will be fllled for lot 16
and tracl 999. As mitigation the remainder of Wetland A and Ils
buffer that is oi low value and quality will bo enhanced. At the east
edge of lots 9 and 10, a small portion of Wetland C will actually be
filled, whlle a larger portion will have a paper flll.
3847 RBA, Inc. 1It1/OG
