Silver Lake Kiwanis provide concession services as both a service to the public and as a fundraiser. <br /> They are responsible for getting all Health District permits in regards to food concession as required by the <br /> ordinance. <br /> 11. A park ranger is assigned to the park for the races to assist with anything that comes up.'There have <br /> been no police,calls during this event for the past eleven years. The ranger can launch a boat if an extra boat <br /> is.needed, provide information to the public or assist as needed. Swimming is not permitted at the designated <br /> swim area during the race and swimmers are directed to use Hauge Homestead or Green Lantern for water <br /> play. Both areas are out of the race course boundary, and this has never been a problem. Dogs are not <br /> permitted in TAS, people who bring them are referred to Hauge Homestead or Green Lantern. Alcohol is not <br /> allowed in the park and SOA would lose their insurance if they permitted racers or participants to use alcohol: <br /> 12. SOA is a non-profit organization and entry fees are charged to cover their costs. The department charges <br /> SOA for use of Silver Hall according to the special use guidelines. <br /> 13. The permit is sent to EPD to review of consideration of safety measures,crowd issues, or other <br /> consideration the department may have. Capt.
